Passivations in service
Service to be carried out after the stripping / passivation operation of the water circuits, when the boiler is restarted.
The purpose of this operation is to create a protective layer on the surface of the tubes when restarting the boiler.
The boiler underwent repairs, a test, a chemical cleaning; it is therefore filled with demined water at the firing point.
The treatment is carried out following the normal procedure for starting the boiler.
The pressures and temperatures are recorded in the control room. The monitoring of the pH is measured on samples taken by us and recorded in the end of works report.
